Open Enrollment |
As a member of a Medicaid managed care plan, you have the option to change
the plan that you have selected within the first three months of your membership
or annually, thereafter, during your region's open enrollment month, which is August.

MCPs may have more hospitals in other counties on their
provider panel. Please contact the MCPs toll-free number for a current
list of all panel hospitals in your area. Remember that doctors can
only perform surgeries or deliver babies at certain hospitals, so be
sure to ask your doctor which hospital he/she can send you to.

To help you choose the Managed Care Plan or
MCP that is right for you, think about the following questions while
also reading the information included in this mailing.
After you have considered the questions below,
call the Ohio Medicaid Managed Care
Managed Care Enrollment Center (MCEC) at 1-800-605-3040
to speak to an Enrollment Counselor or visit them on-line at
www.ohiomcec.com. The MCEC will answer any questions you have and help
you select the Managed Care Plan of your choice.
